The BWC Board is looking for an annual appeal coordinator.
All of the board works hard, but over the years, Kate Traeger has taken on way more than her share of the work involved in creating and sustaining our virtual presence. She’s so good at it! But we, as a board, are trying to take some of the work off of her shoulders in the coming years.
Kate has made the annual appeal a wonderful success, and she’s ready to pass it on. She has created a draft outline of what is involved, and this year (2021) she intends to work with the new organizer, and then pass the job fully on to that new person in 2022.
The position includes overseeing and organizing the writing, printing and sending of the annual appeal letter (including our virtual or in-person 'writing parties'), and then monitoring donations received, writing thank you's, and updating the database.  Necessary skills include working with Google sheets and docs, mail merge and label printing, data management, updating data bases, and keeping in communication with the Board.

We realize we might need to offer some compensation to find the right person - someone with the skills and interest in the job – and the ability to commit to several years in the position – but that (compensation) has not yet been set.
We have Kate's detailed description here.  Anyone who is intrigued, has questions about the position, or wants to know more can be in touch with This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or with other board members.
