The BWC occasionally hosts events that are open to the public. Often these are fundraisers for the chorus as well!

Feeding Friend-zy: Eat out and Raise Money for BWC!

On Tuesday, October 2 come to Elliot Street Fish & Chips & More to raise money for chorus through their monthly Feeding Friend-zy Fundraiser! Elliot Street Fish & Chips & More will donate 50% of their profits from ALL food, drinks, dessert (either eat-in or take out) ordered between 5-8 pm! So tell your friends to come eat (or take out) here on October 2 and take a break from cooking! Check out their menu here to get your mouth watering! Epic I-91 Welcome Center Bake Sale

Thursday, October 4 from 7:30 am - dark

Come show your support for the Brattleboro Women's Chorus at our annual bake sale fundraiser at the Vermont Welcome Center in Guilford. Thursday, October 4 from 7:30 am untill dark you can stop by for some yummy treats baked by our amazing chorus members. Pick up a cup of coffee or mulled cider, perhaps a sandwich or two and help support our scholarship program that enables any interested woman to sing with us! Spread the word and come enjoy a fall feast while supporting a wonderful organization.


Benefit Concert: "Lets Fall in Love" by Becky Graber & Alki Steriopoulos

The Brattleboro Women’s Chorus presents Becky Graber in “Let’s Fall In Love”, a benefit jazz cabaret at Next Stage Arts, in Putney, VT, on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 7:30 pm.

Co-created with Musical Director, Alki Steriopoulos, “Let’s Fall In Love,” weaves together jazz classics with snapshots of Becky’s own personal journey in search of love. Tickets are $20 in advance, $22 at the door, or $35 for chorus supporters.

Becky is the founder and director of the Brattleboro Women’s Chorus, and also directs the Animaterra Women’s Chorus, in Keene, NH. She is a teacher, pianist, storyteller, composer, conductor, and song-leader. Join Becky as she reveals her lifelong love affair with torch songs and steps into the spotlight with her first ever cabaret program.

Just returned from a summer of music in Ecuador, Musical Director, co-creator, and pianist Alki Steriopoulos is thrilled to be a part of Becky’s maiden voyage as a cabaret chanteuse. No stranger to Vermont audiences, Alki is delighted to be making his own concert debut at Next Stage, Saturday, October 6th.

Proceeds from “Let’s Fall in Love” will benefit the Brattleboro Women’s Chorus scholarship fund.
