On September 1st, 2010, we will have an "open sing" for women at All Soul's Church at our usual chorus time, 7 - 8:30.

This is a chance to gather with each other, with women's chorus alumni and newcomers, and sing old favorites and some new songs. It's free! Come yourself, and invite friends who might be interested in chorus to come check it out too!

More than 300 women have participated in the Chorus in the past ten years. Proceeds from BWC concerts benefit a wide variety of non-profit organizations. In the past, the Chorus has sponsored concerts and community workshops with Kate Howard, Libana, and Rhiannon. Our collaboration with poet Verandah Porche, "The Music Of Our Spheres", created choral pieces based on poetry and music improvisation workshops. The Chorus has plans to reach deeper and wider into the greater Brattleboro community with more performances, workshops, and opportunities for group singing.
