More than 300 women have participated in the Chorus in the past ten years. Proceeds from BWC concerts benefit a wide variety of non-profit organizations. In the past, the Chorus has sponsored concerts and community workshops with Kate Howard, Libana, and Rhiannon. Our collaboration with poet Verandah Porche, "The Music Of Our Spheres", created choral pieces based on poetry and music improvisation workshops. The Chorus has plans to reach deeper and wider into the greater Brattleboro community with more performances, workshops, and opportunities for group singing.

A new singalong project!

Community members are invited to come together to sing at 4:00 on Thursdays. The Thompson Trust has given us a grant to help start up regular sings that will travel to the different area senior homes.

EVERYONE is welcome, including men!! and we'll begin on November 1st meeting together to sing at Brattleboro Savings and Loan meeting room, then start visiting different homes November 8. We'll have singalong songbooks, so contact Becky with ideas on songs you think multi generational group of singers would enjoy!
