  • Concerts

The Brattleboro Women’s Chorus presents concerts twice a year, the weekend before Thanksgiving and Mother's Day weekend. Concerts consist of songs from various traditions and are mixed in with readings and poetry to fit the "theme." Local musicians also accompany the chorus. This fall, the Brattleboro Women's Chorus will perform on Saturday, November 18 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 4 pm at the First Baptist Church. Under the direction of founder/conductor Becky Graber, ninety local women sing uplifting songs about Love and Music. They will be joined by local musicians to be announced in the fall. Tickets are $12 adult, $20 generous, $10 student and senior and will be available at BrownPaperTickets.com (starting in November) or at the door. For information email us or call 802-254-8994. If you would like to join the BWC, please mark your calendars for our FALL session! Rehearsals will start September 6 and 7, 2017. Read more about joining here! We also offer or host other events that are open to the public, from concerts to our annual bake sale at the Welcome Center.

What Makes Us Unique

We offer to all women over the age of ten, regardless of musical experience or expertise, the opportunity to join together in shared musical harmony in a supportive environment. Largely through the aural tradition, the ancient practice of learning by ear, we learn songs from a variety of traditions. We prepare for performances, develop our vocal production skills, and offer audiences moving renditions of songs sung by their family, friends and neighbors.

Connect With Us

Brattleboro Women's Chorus is active on Facebook and we send out regular newsletters to let you know about our events and upcoming sessions. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and welcome donations to help us meet operating expenses.
